Cellartis AB and the business unit Cellectis stem cells are in a stage of rapid development and need to strengthen their sales & business development resources. To this end the new position of Sales & Business Development Director has been created.

Job Description and responsabilities

This is an exciting role for a resourceful, ambitious and energetic sales & business development specialist who enjoys leading from the front. Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, the successful applicant must be able to manage both product sales of in vitro products and the creation of high profile R&D partnerships with pharmaceutical companies

Skills/ Attributes

5-10 years sales and deal-making experience from the life science sector. 

Experience with drafting and negotiating R&D agreements involving pharmaceutical products (preferably within regenerative medicine) or research tools (preferably cell based or predictive toxicology products).

Experience from generating sales growth in the life science research tools business. 

The candidate will analyse, coordinate and pursue business opportunities. Specifically, the candidate will identify new partners/customers as well as continually developing existing relationships with the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. 

Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
