SCED™ 461

Human ES cells

human_es_cells_prodimg

SCED™461 is an undifferentiated human embryonic stem (hES) cell line for propagation by enzymatic dissociation into single cells.

Propagation by single-cell enzymatic dissociation enables a robust cell culture system for scale-up of hES cell culture. SCED™461 has a great advantage over the manual dissection method of hES cell culture as no special equipment or training is required.

A population of undifferentiated human embryonic stem cells in single cell suspension. Cells are provided frozen in medium containing FBS and DMSO. SCED™461 cells provide a robust, easy to use cell culture system for hES cell research.

Applications

SCED™461 cells are ideally suited to scientists new to human embryonic stem cell (hES) culture and also laboratories that require efficient scale up of hES. The cells can be used in research applications such as:

  • Differentiation induction studies
  • Fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS)
  • hES scale up for automation
  • Clonal selection

Advantages

  • Easy to culture compared to traditional hES cell culture
  • No special equipment or training required
  • Extremely robust culture system
